Ankuran Olympiad

Ankuran is a diagram-based tactile Olympiad, an initiative by RLF designed to empower visually impaired students by integrating tactile diagrams and accessible learning materials into STEM education. Launched in 2024, this is a first of its kind with the sole aim of fostering a sense of healthy competition among visually impaired students while evaluating their academic knowledge and beyond. Through this event, we want to introduce students to the excitement and objectivity of quizzes, promoting scholastic excellence and competence.

This is an exhilarating Olympiad in which participants attempt 25 multiple-choice questions within one hour. The Olympiad question papers feature a range of subjects, including Science, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. All questions will be based on tactile diagrams and images from the tactile books provided by the Raised Lines Foundation. We believe that participation in this Olympiad will enhance students’ academic skills and provide them with a platform to showcase their knowledge and talent.
